RDS moving and Responsible Disposal Services was established in October 2008 with two things in mind. Offer quality, affordable and professional moving services to our moving customers and work with local charities and recycling centers in our community to properly dispose of unwanted items from the home.

My name is Timothy Kelley and I am the owner of RDS, LLC. I have been working in the moving and storage business since 1993. At RDS we offer (3) specific services to our customers.

Moving & Storage

We offer a full range of moving services that include packing, moving and storage. Our crews our professional, courteous, uniformed and insured. Because we are a small company with low overhead we are able to offer our customers a high quality service at low cost to you. We also have a clean, modern and secure warehouse that is temperature controlled for a safe place to store your household goods if needed.

Disposal / Donation Service

At RDS we work with our customers, community and recycling centers to dispose of unwanted items from around the home in a professional and environmentally friendly manner. We remove items in good condition like furniture, electronics, clothing etc, and deliver them to local charitable organizations for the less fortunate. We take the remaining items and dispose of them at local recycling centers as needed in a responsible way.

Cleaning services

Many of our clients need to clean their homes after they move. We can help with this as well. We offer a full range of cleaning services from a simple washing and vacuuming the floors to a thorough cleaning of the entire home. We also have commercial carpet cleaning equipment to thoroughly clean your carpets.

Budget Pricing for moving:

The following is quick way to get a budget price for moving. This should be used for budget purposes only. There are several variables that can impact the cost of a move ie; stairs, elevators, long hallways for example.

Count the number of rooms of furniture to be moved and reference the guide below to come up with the cost. A room includes: bedroom, kitchen, living room, dining room, basement, storage area.

1-2 Rooms      $300 - $350.00

3 Rooms         $400 - $450.00

4 Rooms         $500 - $600.00

5 Rooms         $650 - $750.00

6 Rooms         $800 - $900.00

7 Rooms         $950 - $1,100.00

It is always best to have an in home estimate done prior to your move, so please use this as a guide only. Also, the cost is for moving only. It does not include packing items into boxes.
